火锅

AHH. finally. School is almost over. I haven't been writing lately cos I've been working on my project submission. Speaking of submission, it is so amusing to see that Kun Hua and I were the only two people who have finished our project today, when the supposed submission date is tomorrow. And I was barely rushing. Busy, but barely rushing. Lund is good for one semester. If the stay is too long, we will be too disillusioned about how life is supposed to be, or rather, how architecture life is supposed to be. I realize here, that architecture students CAN actually lead a normal, balanced life. like wow.

Well, it was my birthday on Friday. We all decided to take a short break from all our cadding and photoshopping. Afterall, we've been camping in front of our laptops for the past week.

Wan hua and I have the same birthday. And it was decided that we shall have steamboat for our birthday dinner.. definitely to satisfy everyone's crave for nice steaming hot chinese 火锅.

It was a really satisfying meal, even though we had limited ingredient choices. Just like another one of those many insane cooking sessions we've been having the past 3 months, we could barely move after the meal.

Dinner ended with a nice sweet touch - amy's wonderful cupcakes..

Min Li and Lionel also organized a simple surprise birthday lunch for me. They basically told me to have lunch with them before Min Li leaves for her Oslo trip. So I thought it'll be a lunch with the two of them. Only to be greeted with 7 other friends. How sweet of them. No photos because I didn't know and hence didn't bring my camera.

Well, it was a pleasant birthday. A nice break from work. Tiring, but definitely nice. =)
